What I’m looking for is :
- 10 gbit/s network (check)
- at least 6 2.5 slots (check)
- at least 1 M.2 slot (check
- really efficient CPU with best compute per watt ratio (and tdp below 30 watt) (to be seen)
- at least 32 GB of RAM (check)
- Integrated graphics (to be seen, probably also a check)

Use case : building a low power Proxmox server on which I can make freeNAS run with disk passthrough
I don’t care for hardware transcoding, I have a small N100 mini PC for my plex needs (and this mini PC gets everything by SMB from the NAS)

Anyway according to the future CPU you guys are going to put in this, it looks like a perfect match, hope to be able to buy it soon !

“Main purpose of such a device. Home Media Center with Hardware-Transcoding. So why the hell is there a AMD and not a Intel-CPU??? "

No, it says it is a NAS, not a home media center. I would not buy an Intel driven device, they are too expensive and not trustworthy. AMD is the way to go.

“But overall a great idea that goes in the right direction.”

Only very little with too much . It tries to do “all” for a NAS and that makes the product more complex than needed and rises the costs. Remove the 3.5" slots and make it much smaller, more compact and better against heat development of harddrives. Then we can use 2.5" SATA SSDs and NVMes only. Put 8 NVMe ports inside instead of 6. And also remove the handbrake 2.5GBit ports or replace them with two additional 10GBit ports. 2.5GBit ports are unnecessary pricy and slow. See Asustor Flashtor 6 FS6706T which is crippled by 2.5GBit ports and Intel CPU.

Other than that: bring one version with NVMe AND 2.5" slots and one with NVMe only. I will buy both (if they come with powerful AMD processors like here, no Intel ones).
